speed of lightning...

(new collage...EIGHT FABULOUS WOMEN...on etsy now!
this one took me forever...but I love their little personalities!)

Isn't Christmas just speeding towards us, like a freight train that has come off the tracks!? I haven't even decorated the house yet! It is very difficult, for a scatter brain like me, to choose what to complete each day. Do I clean the house today? Do I drag out the decorations? Do I work on new collages? You get the idea. Some (I said "some" people!) days I can do it all. Some days I don't finish a single thing...and that's just the nature of my little corner of the world! Today I hope to finish 2 collages and ship off all the goodies that sold over the weekend. I truly have the MOST lovely customers. Each one is sweeter than the next!! I really feel like I am the luckiest girl in the world to have the support of all of you...Thank you, Thank you, Thank YOU!! Wishing you all (and myself!) a creative and productive day!!

Thanks for the treasury info, Jen! I will check it more deeply when I have a minute...I see you are doing real well, on Etsy and on eBay. I am so happy for you! I work the same way you do, I will prep 6 to 8 canvas, spend a day on sketching, then paint one a day if at all possible. Of course, the less days you spent without painting, the faster you get and the better. The worst is when you stopped for a vacation and have to come back to the studio. I have done that last summer and found it quite though to return. But I do have other things happening in my life, and these things need time too. Have a great day! LuLu

Bonjour Jen! I was checking stuff on eBay for a few minutes and see that you did VERY well with your last auctions lately. I love the texture in your black line and the fact that you can feel the texture of the decoupage in your assemblages. Good, good pieces!

Thanks for the great comments about my deer and red birds painting. It sold on Etsy so quickly, and I got so many good comments about it too! I agree with you, having a blog is nothing but good stuff!

My son Ulysse spends a lot of time in my/our studio. He has much more talent at 11 years old than I had when I was his age. He wants to be a designer later or an inventor. I am so lucky to have the nicest sunny studio you can get, thanks to my hubby Francois who did it from one end to the other. Well, actually, he did the entire house!!! We are a family of 3 artists living together, who can ask for more... Take care, LuLu
