dolls, stamps and shop update...oh my!

etsy shop update!

january 17, 2008
7:00 p.m. EST
(new york time!)
new Valentine ornaments,
collage pieces, and maybe
a couple surprises!!

You guys are the BEST!! I can't believe how sweet all your comments were about my little dollie!! Each and everyone of you (and my family!!!!!) have inpired me so much...I'm going to work on some little dolls to sell! It seriously takes me forever and a day to make these little ladies so I'm going to work on a few more practice dolls...and see where it takes me:) Here's a sneak peek at my 2nd dollie...her name is Annie. Don't look toooo close...I like to descibe her as very primitive:) I had a really great scrap of vintage fabric for her dress and she has a little pony tail in the back:) I had to make a little friend for Jenn. They seem happy together:)

I worked on some commissions this past week. This included some Vintage stamp favorites!! I love my stamp collection. I have oodles of vintage stamps from my Dad's boyhood collection and oodles more that I have found on ebay.

I'll be "cleaning out" the 2007 paintings that are still hanging around! I'll be listing them on etsy, at sale prices, throughout the week. Back to work for me! I adore you all for your support!!! Thank you again for your lovely comments and for visiting me here!!! It means the world to me:)

Hi Jenn,
Best of luck with your new dollies!
They are so much fun to many possibilities. I have two boys as well and I like to think of them as my little girls! We all need a little girl to dress up:)

She's a perfect best friend for Jenn! Well the" inspiring"
has been bouncing off a few of us back and forth. Your Jenn doll inspired me to try doing the stripe leggings again on my dolls. All but one of my new ones has decorative socks which takes a bit of time so I had to for go the jackets this time. Cant wait to see your Valentine's update!
