5 new lulette houses
and 2 new little lulette birdies...
and remember the treat I painted for myself a while back?? well, my huge, tall skinny house had a baby! I painted a house just like mine on a smaller chunk of repurposed wood! It measures 23 1/2 inches long and about 4 1/2 inches wide.
the vintage text scraps say "Then imagine our joy when we saw from afar the little inn in which we were to spend the night." This might be my favorite little passage ever. Isn't it cute? And the coolest thing is that it is not a copy...it's the real text from a 1912 French text book...so one of a kind for sure:)
Lastly...my Aunt was just telling me that my cousin and his fiance are having peonies at their wedding in June (I'm so excited to go!!). This...along with my desperate need for Spring to BE HERE NOW...inspired these little floral paintings.
little vintage scraps say "what pretty flowers you have" and "Where is your beautiful garden?" Hope you ALL have a fabulous weekend and thanks so much for checking out my shop update!
I'm heading over at 9:00 pm (EST) tonight!!

I love the little houses and birdies!
Those floral paintings are great! You should do more!
Hi there .... so, I've been visiting here for a bit now and have enjoyed following along and thought I'd share this link with you about printers. The info was actually shared and posted over on the etsy forums, that's where I first found/read it. Hope it gives you some great info as you search out your printer.

Love the new stuff. I was in the same situation regardig prints. I use iprintfromhome.com and have been satisfied. I was trying to weight the cost of printing upkeep with demand and so far it has been less expensive to outsource. You can also order just 1 print at a time. Try it and see how it works for you.
I love your little houses and your peonies. So fun!
Nice new work. Buy an Epson R1900 - you'll love it.
Nice work. Buy an Epson R1900 - you'll love that too.
Everything is so adorable, but I'm partial to the birds! As you probably know I am having a little thing for birds right now. And sorry, I'm no help with the printer problem. Hugs***Renea
PS--You should go to my site & sign up for the giveaway, it will be saturday the 29th.
Oh what sweet new goodies Jenn!!! I missed your big update, but looks like there's one lonely little house left and I'm tempted to go snatch it up. ;)
On the printer, I have an Epson R1800 and just LOVE it!!! I use the Epson photo papers too and I get lots of raves about my art prints. :D I think the new R1900 is like a newer version of mine, so that's what I would recommend unless you can catch an R1800 in Epson's clearance center shop on their website.

You crack me up! My huge skinny house had a baby! Hilarious! And cute! love the little houses and the birdies too. You ought to paint flowers more those are beautiful! Oh, and ask Vanessa at a fanciful twist about printers, she does a lot.
Oh and I am very excited you might offer prints! does that mean more postcards too?
*screams* These little Lulette Birds are FABULOUS!!! I hope you are getting a trademark on that name!!! Wow! I love them! I want one! How stinkin' adorable!
I'm so happy! What an impressive update!
I was waiting for the Imagine house, but as lightning fast as I was, someone else was lightning faster. :)
I love the one I got though and can't wait to hold it in my hands. Yay!

Told you that you needed to make a city of those little houses! Love the peonies paintings, especially the lilac colored one! I just bought some seeds( blue and purple flowers) and am looking forward to going to the nursey to buy plants for the garden. Although I'm looking outside and it's dumping snow..so that may be awhile:)
Enjoy your weekend:)

p.s. I think doing prints is a smart idea. I have two printers, one I never use but is excellent for prints (I bought it specifically to do my photographs). It's an Espon R1800. I bought it a year and a half ago so who knows if it's still being made.
Love it all! the flower canvases are fabulous!! As always we sigh with happiness at all you do!

Beautiful Little houses, the "Mansion" is my favorite one. (I have the Aceo), and the little birds are adorable with those little hats :). Great Work!!!!
Hi Jenn....I missed everything as usual! All of your new things are wonderful and make me smile.
I'm in the market for a printer as well so I'm snitching all of the advise you received. Thanks!
I just have a little cheap Lexmark 3 in 1 printer. Ink Jet. Long for a laser printer. So expensive! Love the little birdies too!
I NEED to buy some little houses one day, but I always come too late! That's sad, but I still hope!
Have a wonderful weekend yourself ! :D
These are all so cute! I love how you make the colors pop in all that you do, your work is so vibrant!~
