april already...

well, somehow, today is already April!! Time for Little League and Birthday parties around our house! And of course today is April Fools Day. My husband had convinced poor Jake that there was no school today. April Fools! Poor boy. What torture to have to actually attend a full week of school;) The days just keep flying by and I've missed sharing some special things with you all!! I've been working on some more commissioned pieces. A little set of Lulette houses for one of the most lovely and creative families I've ever met:)

And a sweet painting for the MOST adorable princess:)

I also received a few super special packages in my little mailbox! First, I won a gorgeous pendant from Liz's blog ! yippeeeeeee! You can get your very own pendant at her etsy shop primoriginals. Look at the adorable teeny magnets she makes too...

I ordered these sweet little guys for my boys... from the cutest etsy shop ericadaley . Made from vintage wooden spools! Polka dots too! I adore them:)

And look at this bookmark I won from Audrey Eclectic!! Thank you so much Heather:) This one was my favorite!! It reminds me of my sister and I as little girls...soooo sweet!! Such wonderful details...I will enjoy using this so much! I feel a bit like a rock star (without the cool singing voice) with all these treats I've won!!!

For Easter my parents sent me these cutie Jennifer Murphy birdies. Aren't they cute! It's me and my hubby:) Don't you adore my hat;) I put them in my favorite cabinet right next to my 10th anniversary frame my Mom made for us last year:) The print inside is from yummihouse .

And while we are in my favorite cabinet I had to show you some other little friends in here. Vintage dollies that were my Moms', teeny wedding bear from Bath (I think??), my Nanna's elephant, a vase from Hawaii and a wedding photo that is a painful reminder of how YOUNG WE USED TO BE;) Seriously...I can't believe how young we look there!!

And speaking of young...look at my sweet little boys a couple years ago. Edible.

More yummy vintage books, my wedding bouquet and tea set from my childhood:)

I strayed down memory lane there for a moment! Thanks for coming along with me!! You're welcome back anytime:) I'll leave you with a couple ACEO cards I made for my lonely ebay site.

Happy April to you! See you soon...xoxoxox

Oh, such fun pictures! I love the April banner, I love how you change yours so often. LOooooove the houses! They are so cute. And another blonde girl, and a princess no less! Wait till my Brittany sees! And you are a blogging rock star! Great treasures, won and already owned. I know, I try not to look at my wedding photo tooo often. Then I remember we were really still children when we married(21 and 22). Fifteen years this month! Aaack! Time definitely flies too fast. People always tell you that growing up but you don't get it until it starts happening to you I think. Sorry, I have rambled on, just loved seeing this post so much! xoxo!

Jenn, I am so touched by how sentimental you are in all areas of your life. It makes me realize how terribly terribly practical I am to the point of it being just so BORING and ridiculous and so.... what's the word.... sort of sad. Am I making sense? Anyway, you make me want to make my house "warmer".

I love all the things you have out. I could look at your blog all day!

Thanks for sharing all of your treasures Jenn! I have some of the same old books...Mary Poppins! My copy was from when I was small and it's a mess. I wish I took better care of it.
Have a great April Fools day!

Hi, Jenn. I found your blog today while doing an Internet search for polka dots. You create such beautiful, whimsical items, and I have enjoyed looking through your posts.

I also love those adorable spool people! And, of course, the polka dots are fabulous! I am a huge polka dot fan -- in fact, I have a blog devoted entirely to them! Check it out at http://www.onthedotcreations.typepad.com
