back into the swing of things!

hey everyone! i'm sloooowly gettin' back into the swing of things!! i'm still in "sitting by the pool" mode! i'm working on lots of new projects and shooting for a shop update later this week. more mounted prints...french couples...paintings and MAYBE some little jewelry goodies. we'll see how it goes the next couple days;)

so, how was your father's day weekend!? hope you did lots of celebrating with all your dear ol' dads:) my guys took their dad to his favorite little restaurant in a nearby town for a deeeeelicious brunch. apart from a few tearful fits, 50 bathroom breaks and the emptying of my purse onto the floor it was quite lovely;)

been catching up on all my favorite blogs this weekend and i have soooo many more to go. i'm getting there! the problem is...once you catch up with's time to catch up again!
i discovered inspire company through the lovely Red Shoes blog . i'm in love! catherine is the featured artist and has some adorable things for sale over there. i snatched up the tooth pillow....yipppppeeeee!! fabulous projects and lots of yummy photos...just a beautiful site! okay clay is calling. i'll leave you with a few more pictures from our wonderful trip.

remember how the little guy on the right was supposed to be a ring bearer?? yeah...didn't happen. henry wanted NOTHING to do with any of it on the actual wedding day. i do have these cute pics. of him at the rehearsal though;) look how precious they look! his co-ring bearer aiden is the cutest guy...and quite a dancer too!!

my nephew rowen and jake looking super thrilled at the rehearsal dinner!

they soon perked up while concocting the most disgusting drink with all sorts of food and sugar and salt and who knows what else:):) yes, they took a sip of it!

blake & lisette, aunt judi & uncle tony & his adorable mom connie, shannon and mark!

enjoying a beverage palm beach style!!!

off to Jacksonville to visit my in-laws and adorable nephews!! this is sweet little sawyer...look at that red hair!!!

and then off to Tallahassee to visit my grandparents, aunts & uncle & adorable younger cousins!! i was able to finally visit my uncle john's new restaurant the red elephant ! i am so impressed with every bit of it!! delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, fabulous folk art by georgia artist cornbread . so fun!! congrats mel and john!!!

wishing you all a happy and creative week!!! xoxoxo...jenn

I just found that fun inspire company last week. REally fun! Glad you had a good father's day too. Hey is no one allowed to have girl babies in your family? I am just saying if ever a girl was perfect for having daughters it has to be you! Not even neices do I see though! Oh well, eventually they will get married and bring a girl home right? Good luck with the update, I am intrigued by the mention of jewelry!

Hey Jen, it sounds like you had a great week! Did home look ten times better then what you thought it would be after a week gone? I know for me it did. One other question, how did those bulletin boards go?

Welcome back Jenn! Thanks for sharing the adorable photos. My family is exactly the same...not a girl in sight. Maybe it's an east coast thing?
Can't wait to see all of your new stuff.

My girls make concoctions too when we go out, that is funny.
I love weddings, my last one was in Florida too and my girls were flower girls.
I can't wait to see your new creations!

Here's a toast to you Jenn!
To bluebirds wearing party hats,
lovely little prints,
houses with roofs that are striped.
To cute little boys that won't carry a ring,
but are still enjoying life.
May creamy, lovely paint and clay always be at hand,
But the boys can keep their drink,
my dear, I'd rather eat some sand!
