Good Morning Jenn!
I read that you were feeling a little blue and I just wanted to tell you how amazing and beautiful you are! Even though we cannot all meet for latte or chai, meeting here at your blog is the next best thing! Your art is a testament to your real beauty and who you are as a woman. And I feel very fortunate for having the opportunity to get to know you-even if it's just through your art!

Hope today is sunnier in your part of the world! Sending a big hug!

I know just how you feel about not feeling at home...I've been here in CT for 7 years now, and I miss "home" terribly. And I'm just now finding friends. Someday, we hope to move out west. You have such a beautiful family! Your friends here support you-in all your triumphs and trials! Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. I hope you feel at home soon...

I love this picture of your boys!

Big hugs,

Bonjour Jenn! Ah! After rain comes sunshine, remember? And you know what, get yourself one of these full-spectrum balanced light for your studio, it does wonder when natural light outside is not always au rendez-vous. Take care, LuLu xxx

yes, it's really too bad that "blah" is part of life...and then a new day arrives, a new perspective. i think that's part of what the blah is all about...kinda makes us see what we might normally not take time to see. hang in there...we're SO with you!

Ahh I love this picture and the way the tree branches are casting the shadows....LIFE is tough. Sometimes I think it is even more so on the creative type... we just have a way of feeling deeply...

Talk to you soon..

Hi Jenn!
I tried to leave a comment last night, but Blogger wouldn't let me! I hope you're feeling better! It was so refreshing to hear that you go through this stuff, too! I have lived here for a long time (actually grew up here!) and I feel Blah quite a bit! I miss our old days in Boston and Chicago and still sometimes feel like I caved and moved back to my hometown! I think women and moms tend to compare ourselves and often it seems that others' lives are so perfect...I appreciate your honesty and you putting yourself out there on your blog!:) On another note, you have totally inspired my kids! My daughter is always admiring my lullette collection, so she had me buy some sculpy clay at Hobby Lobby...She made her own little house collection and my son did a castle, cyclops and ghost! IT was wonderful to see them so engaged in the thank you for the inspiration!!!
Be gentle with yourself and take care! Hugs, Jody

Girlfriend...come on up to Wheaton and let's have some coffee. I moved to Illinois 18 years ago "temporarily" and here I am...still sitting here. When I think of my perfect place it has mountains, beaches, know...anything that is not Illinois. But now I have a great group of women and we get together and have breakfasts and girl's nights out and I can't imagine really living anywhere else. Seriously...we could have coffee...

Jenn, I haven't been to your blog in so long and I was thinking about you today. I'm so sad to hear that your blue. I very much understand. We only moved 30 minutes away but I still feel isolated because life is going on without me in my old 'neck of the woods'. It's hard to watch so many people who have those established relationship when I am struggling to get in. I feel you my friend. let's hold each other up! You are in my thoughts...
