the boys love their snowman flannel sheets...if only they would STAY in their cozy beds past 6:30 a.m. Seriously. I don't know how these are my children. They get up SO early.
Besides trying to stay warm...I am working away to catch up on all your orders. Don't worry...I'm still taking it easy. I'm not letting myself work past midnight. (You have NO idea how hard that is for me!!!! SO hard!!!) And I'm almost caught up...sort of. I'd like to have a lulette update in the shop this weekend. I think Sunday night. Let's say 8:00 p.m. EST. I really don't know how many things will make it into the update...but I had started some clay ornaments and angels before I got sick. Those will be finished up and ready to go and maybe a few other treats. At least there will be something new;) see you

Oh, I love to cuddle up with a new book or magazine. and I LOVE your sheets! I have a weakness for things with skaters on them, awww!
Hi Jenn, sad to say I am not a fan of winter. The snow is so pretty but I just don't like the cold anymore. I can't wait to see what you have for the update!! Take it easy:)
Love the flannel sheets too. i just bought a bunch of flannel fabric...I am thinking of making some flat sheets for the beds.
The best part about winter?? SOUP!! Chili, and never forget yummy bread bowls! :)
LOOOVE winter, but hate the dry skin! Have a great weekend! :)

it's getting chilly here too -- i'm pulling out my jeans, boots and sweaters. No more flip flops here!
I have been burning the fireplace...love that! I can't wait for you shop update. Maybe I will be quick enough to snag a lulette (Im never quick enough)

Bonjour Jenn! Oh yes! Flannel sheets! I am telling you, some winters are so long here that we still have the flannels in our bed in the month of June !!! We heat our home with 2 wood stoves that we jam-pack before we go to bed. Here a nice trick to make your bed cozy at night, or your sons': Take a empty large bottle of soda and fill it with VERY hot water from the tap. Put the cap on, wipe is dry and place the bottle under the blankets, especially at the bottom of the bed were feet go. We do that all the time, it is a super easy way to warm cold feet too. I know that in the old days, here, the woman used to put hot bricks in the beds and would remove them just before everyone went to sleep. Good to see you are taking care of yourself... Good luck with the shop update! LuLu xxx
I love your work!your faces are so sweet and fun...
I have been using the black under painting recently....it is such a cool way to make art pop...
I will be back.
Heloooo Jenn!
I'm so glad you're up and around again.
We have had a bit of snow this morning and it's bitter cold. I WISH I could have flannel sheets! My husband is part polar bear and sweats at the thought of flannel:) So my home is perpetually frigid. AC in summer, 65 degrees tops in the winter.
I dream of heating blankets...
Have a great weekend!
Tracy
ooh, i know what you mean about the cold weather...it's even been cold here in north florida! i love the idea of flannel sheets, and i'm especially loving lulu's idea of the empty soda bottle filled with hot water! yikes...nothing worse than cold feet! :)
your sheets are just adorable! i've been using my rice bag to keep cozy. i warm it in the microwave for 4 minutes and then sit it on my lap when i work in the art room or blog. so toasty!!
brrr...its cold outside, but your house looks so warm...and the cakes looks so yummy :) stay well and have a great Thanksgiving! :) hugs, jackie
What a nice (and warm) post! Here in germany it´s freezing and cold too and I love it to make some candles on and have it comfortable on my couch with a warm sheet. By the way: Thank you soooo much for your nice comments on my blog - that mean so much for me! Wish you a nice sunday evening and a great start in the monday! Freezing greetings from germany for you
