just a health update.
not a shop update.
but I do have some things in the works.
like more lulettes in the
form of more angels, snowy trees,
festive houses and such.
I'm getting back into the swing
of things...I've missed creating
and crafting and painting soooo
very much!!!!

on to the health update.
I went to the Gastroenterologist today.
It looks like I probably have an ulcer that
got all flared up and it was causing SEVERE
pain all along my right side, abdomen and back
up into my shoulder. Thankfully that pain
has finally subsided thanks to some advice my
Uncle had given me. But, I'm still having some issues
with pain in my abdomen, etc.. (I'll spare you ALL the details!)
So, now I have an endoscopy and colonoscopy
scheduled in a couple weeks. yummy.
I really did NOT want these tests, but with some
family history of related issues, he feels they are necessary
to see what's going on in there. least I'm feeling better!!!
I know I have to take it easy... work on the stress levels...
maybe stop staying up until 3:00 am every night...
stuff like that. I think I'm officially not a
Spring Chicken anymore!

And then there's this little guy whose only concerns
today were to log onto Webkinz to feed his new Webkinz
mouse named Jeff. To make sure we played
hide and seek exactly 4 times (and he hid in the same
place every time!). And to make sure I gave him the
"good applesauce" with his lunch.
And that's exactly the way it should be:)

Have a GREAT weekend everyone!

Sorry to hear about the medical trauma. I have the same but up the left side. I had the endo/colon things recently and I have to say that they were not bad at all. They wheel you in and give you the meds and next thing you know you are in recovery and I didn't remember a thing. (THankfully) I wouldn't worry about that...just worry about feeling better. Take care...Becci

Yay! I am so glad you are feeling a bit better. Sounds like your little man had a lovely afternoon. Love that he hid in the same place all 4 times. lol I used to close my eyes and think that no one could see me. ;D Silly kids.
Now, get some rest and no staying up until the wee hours, lady. Take time to reflect and enjoy the moment. Well wishes being sent your way.

I wish I could always make my kids happy as easily as I can today. When does the power of a mommy kiss making things all better wear off? I love the mouse is named Jeff! So glad you may have some answers! From what I have seen half the battle of an ulcer seems to be knowing you have one and then you can treat it appropriately. I so hope you keep feeling better!

I am going to be praying for your health. I hope you get well soon.
My daughters are so into Webkinz right now. Before they go to bed they said "I need to put my webkinz in bed!"

Hi Sweet Jenn!!!
I'm so happy you are feeling a bit better:) I know it's hard to stop and take a deep breath but maybe this is nature's way of telling you to slooooow down. Enjoy those kiddies!

Well I'm glad they think they know what it might be. As for the testing I hope it's over before you have time to blink! I had tumors(benign) in both ovaries several years back and you lose your sense of modestly and the humor kicks in when you have to deal with the tests. It'll all be over with quick and hopefully you'll be in the mend!!

~another not so spring chicken who stays up till 3am :)

Oh dear, digestive issues are no fun at all:( I suffer from reflux & hiatal hernia and it can be painful. Takes the joy out of things. Had an endo twice and it wasn't too bad at all. What advice did your Uncle give you? Just wondering if it might apply to my situation. Always looking for new tips on management of condition.take care and I hope you fell better soon.
