i heart etsy

I saw this on The Storque and wanted to share it with you (if you hadn't already seen it). I'm so proud to be a part of etsy!

"The World Economic Forum nominated Etsy as one of their 2009 Technology Pioneers. Etsy's founder Rob Kalin will be traveling to Davos, Switzerland to represent our community and to voice Etsy's mission at the January meeting."

Cool video - thanks for posting it! I like the stuffed doll on the back of the couch with the really really long striped arms & legs.

I have to say that I absolutely love purchasing from all of you wonderfully talented artists. I love purchasing handmade items. They speak so much more than the standard item you'd find in gift shops or department stores. I love what Rob said about what you would grab if you had to quickly grab things from your house. I'd pick my meaningful, handmade items. These things are valuable to me because they have a special meaning and were created from the heart, not mass produced. Love Etsy and all of the talented artists that share their talent with us. Hugs!!!

That was great and it's nice to hear about his vision. And I can relate to the no sleep bit as I'm sure you can..lol!

Great holiday items Jenn~esepecially the angels (beloved is my fav)! And as a Cali girl I can relate to the problem relating to the wintery weather..I don't think I'll ever get use to driving/sliding on icy roads..ugh.
