(another) fresh, clean start!

Good News! I had a sort of productive night last night...and feel like I can announce another shop update! Not completely sure if it will be very big...but I will have more Easter/Spring inspired ornaments... a handpainted picture frame or 2...and a couple little painted wooden plaques:) New Lulettes are STILL in the works. One might find her way to the update:) They will be complete soon, I promise!!

Now...onto fresh starts. Will someone please remind me that I am moving in 4 or 5 months!? I have moved my studio space around AGAIN! I just had to though. You don't understand. Actually, maybe you do! When I wrap something up to ship off...I make the HUGEST mess in the world. I only had my one little desk space for painting/collaging/sculpting/and wrapping. This equals a pile of unmanageable mess. Don't get me wrong. I am super grateful for this space. But this little photo might prove my point a bit.

That remote doesn't even go to anything upstairs! And jelly beans balancing on top of a canvas balancing on top of a jar of gel medium? yikes. Maybe the space isn't too small. Maybe I'm just a piggy. Now through the magic of cleaning...

sparkle, sparkle!! I brought up the old red table to use as my "shipping station"!! I am so thrilled with this...I barely have words!!! This one teeny change created a humongous chain reaction of moving and cleaning out things. I think I'm nesting. Not the pregnant nesting (sorry Mom)...but the AHHHHH! I'm moving soon nesting.

I even cleaned out my white storage shelves! I have a whole bin of goodies for the thrift shop and I feel like I can breathe a little better.

I hung my lovely print from Suzette at Studio Spiral on the side of my little dresser. I love it so much and now I can see it everytime I'm sitting at my desk:)

rays of sunshine...

The past couple of weeks have been so chaotic. With the kids being sick...then my husband got sick...winter break and everyone cooped up in the house...ahhhhhhhhhh!!!! It's official. I'm absolutely sick of winter. I don't feel like I can stand another minute of it. I want to plant flowers and go to the beach. Pathetic pity party...I know! But, I just know that you can relate!!! On to happier thoughts:):):)

Some HUGE rays of sunshine fell upon the noodle and lou house:):) In the form of happy, happy mail!! One of my dearest, dearest customers (turned fabulous friend!) sent me the most wonderful package. She sent me the sweetest note ever and a precious button bouquet and little bird and monkey tags!! ooooooh! I can't even tell you how much this meant to me!! Thank you so much Holly. You made me feel like a queen:):) Take a peek at some of my special treats...

Hi everyone! Jake and I both thank you SO much for all your well wishes and sweet notes! Poor guy is slowly recovering and really loved all your messages.

a quick hello

Just a quick hello to you all! I've been quite absent from my blog this week and I do miss you!! It just seems when it rains...it pours. And it has been pouring around here. The worst was yesterday...I had to take my 7 year old to the ER. He became really sick Thursday night. Friday I called the Dr. and he said to get him to the hospital. An all day and night stay in the ER...with blood work, chest x-rays (they thought pneumonia), and a cat scan (they thought appendicitis) came up with (thank GOD) just a horrible virus. I have never seen Jake that sick. It was so scary. He was such a trooper through the whole thing. And, he is feeling much better today. I, however, feel like I've been hit by a train. I'm mentally and physically exhausted!! I do have new things to show you and to put in the shop...and on my much neglected ebay site...but I've just been to exhausted!! So...I think I'll add some goodies tomorrow night. Sunday 2/18.
