sugar hangover

WOW! i don't know about you guys...but i sure have the worst sugar hangover (which is the best possible kind!!!) from the tons of tea parties i attended this weekend:):) vanessa was the most delightful hostess ever and i am still swooning over her fabulous decorations. paper cakes and teacups and delightful creatures...OH MY! happy 200th post to you vanessa...what a wonderful celebration!!

now onto the winner of my teeeeeeeny weeeeeeeny cake! it is the 1st official day of summer here in the noodle and lou house and both my boys are in foul moods...go figure. so, no help from them with the drawing. i got this dear little friend to help me:) thank you annie!!











i had to help her just a bit...with the reaching out of a name...but annie really did most of the work! and the winner is tracy at the vintage sister studio!!!! Speaking of cake...I'm going to give away my teeny tiny cake shown in the photo above! It is a wee little cake that I made from polymer clay and acrylic paints. awwwww...thank you for all the super sweet comments about Heather's interview!! You guys are so amazing:):) Just when I was almost finished blushing over all that sweetness... Paulette Insall included me in her latest video about her etsy purchases and it is too cute! (watching her open my package makes me realize how I use WAY TOO much tape!!) Thank you Paulette! huuuuuuuuuuuge thank you

thank you really seems to not be enough...but i am so overwhelmed by all your wonderful support that it's all i can say! thank you SO much!!! thank you for stopping by the shop last night. thank you for being beyond patient with the SLOW etsy listings (it took me 70 minutes to list everything...that's just nuts!!) thank you for scooping up so many of my new things. thank you for helping me to live my dream and be a full time mom/artiste:):):):) that was my most successful shop update ever and i am just so stinkin' excited!! mainly because i have been REALLY enjoying working with clay lately and the fact that i am having such a great response to my lulettes is beyond thrilling!! i've been packing up lots o' stuff today and everything will be headed to their new homes tomorrow morning. sometimes it's hard to say goodbye, but when i think of the happy homes they are headed to...i know it's where they belong:) SO...my desk is a HUGE pig sty...




looks like an I Spy picture...right!? it's all the things i need for packing day...boxes, shred, scissors, labels, hole punches, coffee. what you are missing seeing, in a little wider shot, is Spider Man Monster Trucks, Hotwheels, a fake piece of toast, Darth Vader's helmet...etc. i have a photo of my Frida wall sculpture for you too:) She was a reserved listing and is headed off to her new home!!



WAY excited about some new designs I'm working on for Spoonflower too!!! yippppppeeeeee!!!


Onto other things:) my blog music is coming on automatically now and i'm not sure if i like it...what do you think? hmmmmmm. i've been working so late every night this past week...so I did a little relaxing today and caught up on some reading



so excited to see the amazingly talented Elsita in this issue!! I really don't think there is anything she can't do...she is fab-u-lous. Also just started Water For Elephants...love it so far! i'm a little all over the place tonight, huh!? Gotta get back to packaging...but i have 2 special things that i've been meaning to share with you forever. i bought this precious and perfectly funky little lavender pillow from the bumblebird etsy shop !

back into the swing of things!




hey everyone! i'm sloooowly gettin' back into the swing of things!! i'm still in "sitting by the pool" mode! i'm working on lots of new projects and shooting for a shop update later this week. more mounted prints...french couples...paintings and MAYBE some little jewelry goodies. we'll see how it goes the next couple days;)




so, how was your father's day weekend!? hope you did lots of celebrating with all your dear ol' dads:) my guys took their dad to his favorite little restaurant in a nearby town for a deeeeelicious brunch. apart from a few tearful fits, 50 bathroom breaks and the emptying of my purse onto the floor it was quite lovely;)


been catching up on all my favorite blogs this weekend and i have soooo many more to go. i'm getting there! the problem is...once you catch up with everyone...it's time to catch up again!
i discovered inspire company through the lovely Red Shoes blog . i'm in love! catherine is the featured artist and has some adorable things for sale over there. i snatched up the tooth pillow....yipppppeeeee!! fabulous projects and lots of yummy photos...just a beautiful site! okay guys...my clay is calling. i'll leave you with a few more pictures from our wonderful trip.

remember how the little guy on the right was supposed to be a ring bearer?? yeah...didn't happen. henry wanted NOTHING to do with any of it on the actual wedding day. i do have these cute pics. of him at the rehearsal though;) look how precious they look! his co-ring bearer aiden is the cutest guy...and quite a dancer too!!

and then off to Tallahassee to visit my grandparents, aunts & uncle & adorable younger cousins!! i was able to finally visit my uncle john's new restaurant the red elephant ! i am so impressed with every bit of it!! delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, fabulous folk art by georgia artist cornbread . so fun!! congrats mel and john!!!
