happy halloween...

mr. noodle and little lou

are SO excited for Halloween.

They are dressing up as Captain Jack Sparrow

and a skeleton pirate. Can you

believe no Star Wars?? Look at

this picture I found from a couple years ago.

Henry refused to wear a costume and is

sporting some rad road rash...and Jake

was a spooktacular mummy:)

How cute is THAT!?

and somehow my baby is now grown up

into this little guy...

who had a super cool Halloween parade

today with all his little friends.

i've had a busy, busy day today!

how about you guys?

I met up with Jackie this morning

and we went over to the

Christmas at the Faire show!

oh my gosh...i could have gotten

into some serious financial trouble there

you guys!! So many cute things

and really fun to meet some faces

from the internet includind lenae from windlewood!

This was the 2nd time I've

seen Jackie and we had such a fun time. Thanks Jackie!!

then i was off to pick up kids,

ship packages, drop off kids, pick up kids

(you see where this is going!)

and now i just rushed in the door to

upload the update peeks for ya'll!!!

SO...there will only be

9 listings tonight

at 8:00 p.m. EST

but don't fret!!

I'll do another lulette update next week

note cards from me without knowing the other person

did the same!! Isn't that cool:) It's such a small world:)

I've been working on some new paintings

for an update this week...

here's a peek!

i was thinking of just listing stuff this Wednesday and Thursday

throughout the day. Would you guys prefer that...or do you like

having a specific time for an update. I welcome all your comments

and thoughts!!! That last update when my computer was crashing

and the pictures were not loading and it was taking HOURS to finish

the update...had me totally freaking out. Not because of what

was going on on my end...but I was so worried about you guys

sitting there WAITING and WAITING for the listings to pop up!!!

BUT...if I could get everything together...maybe you would prefer the

set time!!! AYE YAY YAY! I'll shut up now!

also been super busy with commission orders.

i'm ALMOST caught up, so that I can

start my Christmas orders!!! and yes, I've started

Christmas goodies for the shop too:) yipppeee!

let's go to a halloween party!!

come along on a wee adventure.

an adventure of a lovely lady.

a lovely lady named Madame Lulu Spooklita

(it was an old family name)

who became lost on her way

to a most fabulous party,

hosted by the most fabulous

hostess, with all

the most fabulous guests.

she received her delightful invite.

she immediately said

"yes, yes!

I'll be there!!"

and she set off for an evening filled

with delectable food and whimsical

folks and all things Halloween.

She hadn't gotten very far when

she realized, in all of her excitement,

she may haven taken a wrong turn.

She walked up to a glittery black tree

filled with friendly creatures.

"excuse me...

can anyone tell me the way to

Halloween party?"

much to her dismay,

they could not point her in the right direction.

a little while later

Madame Lulu Spooklita

came across a charming dollie

taking a ride on her white rat.

"Are you looking for the big

Halloween Party as well?" asked

Madame Lulu Spooklita.

But the dollie was in such a rush,

she rode right on by without

even a word.

uh oh.

she was starting to worry.

Just then something

shiny caught her eye.

she went off to see what it could be.

it was a grumpy old skeleton

(who happened to be snoozing)

with a pile of treasure right in his lap.

Madame Lulu Spooklita was

very tempted....

but of course Madame Lulu is a lady.

and ladies do not STEAL.

She resisted temptation

and got back on the path.

Walking, Walking, Walking.

and getting nowhere.

Madame came across an old friend...

Sir Skelly Bones III.

She sat with him for awhile

as they caught up on all the latest news.

Sir Skelly Bones III

told Madame Lulu how lovely

she looked.

She politely thanked Sir Skelly.

He was really quite the gentleman.

Sir Skelly Bones III

was a gentleman...but not

very good with directions.

"hmmmm, the Halloween Party?

I think you take a left at the licorice

posts"

So Madame Lulu Spooklita was

back on her way.

and took a left at the licorice posts....

which lead right into the path of a

frightening mummy!

"grrrrrrrrrrr

get out of my yard!!!"

Madame Lulu ran as

fast as her little striped tight legs

could take her back to the licorice posts.

And this time she took a right turn!

A wise old owl

sat next to a sign that

encouraged her she

was headed in the right direction.

ooooh she could almost

taste the candy corn!!!

Madame Lulu was in such a candy trance

that she ran right into

Madame Pumpkin Lady.

"Madame Lulu!

Look where you are going!"

exclaimed Madame Pumpkin Lady.

"oooh I am ever so sorry

Madame Pumpkin Lady!

How do you do?

I'm on my way to a Halloween Party

and it seems I have lost my way."

The great pumpkin let out

a laugh! "well, follow me!

It's right this way!"

Hooray

Madame Lulu Spooklita

made it to the Halloween Party!

She was the happiest gal

in all of the woods!!!
