really, really, REALLY.
cold.
and I have turned into a person
that only talks about the weather.
yep. I'm that person.
hope you guys are cuddled up by a fire and
keeping warm and cozy.
I'm trying to get a shop update ready for
you guys! The boys have been home
from school because of this dangerous weather
and the whole week has just been kind of topsy
turvy. Hoping to get back to normal soon and get
all these projects done for the shop...
and to visit all of you that have been leaving
me such sweet comments here on my blog.
thanks for the studio love:)
did I mention it's -16 right now and the wind chill is -32?
I told you.
All I talk about is the weather!

Don't you just hate that! We were finally supposed to get these kids back in school after the holidays! Mine got sick and stayed home, might be worse to have healthy ones trapped at home-they get bored and are noisier!
Jenn,
You said it!!! I have turned into one of "those" too!!! The only normal, full day of school my kids had this week, they were home sick! Tomorrow is another late start, but at least they'll be in school for a few hours and away from their once sweet, but now crazy, pregnant, sick of the cold mom!:)
I left this for you on another message, but I am doing my first "giveaway" tomorrow afternoon...stop by if you have a chance!:)
Warm thoughts to you...there will be an end to this weather---hang on!!

He he i'm English so being one of 'those' people is something i've always been! today in good old england it is raining with a temperature of about 4 degrees ;)
I feel your pain! Our school district planned a four day weekend after a 16 day winter break. Do these people not have kids? The four day weekend is now a six day weekend! AAAGH!The only thing good I have to say is at least the forecast is better now. Hang in there!
My kids have a two hour delay so yipeeee they are going to school. They have way to much energy and you can't send them outside:) Stay warm Jenn sometimes it is nice that you can't go anywhere then you stay home and get lots done!! Have a super warm day!!
wow...that's some serious snow!! i'm glad that you're able to admire it from INSIDE your house! what a great excuse to hibernate in your sweet, sweet studio (thanks for all the pix!) and create some of that fabulous jenn-art! i'm swooning over your cake-plate-turn-paint-holder, and your mail-holder-sticker-storage. what super ideas!! stay warm sweetie pie!! :)
I also focus too much on the weather. You have too when it is 1 degree. Yes, it was 1 here in the NC mountains today. Can't wait for the shop update.
Try to stay warm and toasty...XOX Jen
Yes it is way to cool here too! -20 degrees with windchill -48 degrees! I am ready to move! LOL! Stay warm! My kiddos are home today too!
Your weather is coming our way. No snow though so I can take it. It's only in the teens here too.
Can't wait to see what you are making!!
Have a great weekend Jenn!!!!

Bonjour Jenn! Ah! -16 degrees F is balmy! We woke up with a -25 degrees this morning !!! Oh, well, winter is winter and my feeling is one is always similar to another, from year to year, in Quebec. We always get a few days of VERY cold weather, then quite often we have a serious January thaw. Cold comes back again but usually not as serious as before. Then, one day you wake up, it is SPRING !!! We are all in the same situation, cold is tough! I too have problems spending full days in my studio but the kids have school here, cold weather or not. Have a great weekend! Next week will be better production-wise, for me too, I hope! Take care, LuLu xxx
Hi Jenn!
We are feeling the really cold too!
Yuk! It burns :(
You blog is so happy..I love it!

I am sending you some sunshine your way from Florida! Send me some snow! :) Great picture! :)

Oh that does seem very cold. Brrrr. I miss it though. Perhaps I am being silly. But I will always be a Nordic soul. I lived in Ireland and England for the last 15 years, and moved to the South of France just over a year ago, and here the skies are almost always blue, and the weather so soft and gentle. We still have flowers blooming in the garden :/
I hope you will all snuggle up warm and cozy. I for one am a little bit envious :)
Jenn, Loved your studio. It's pretty cold here in Nj...17 degrees. I don't even want to go out and get the mail. Deana
I remember when we lived in Minnesota. Really cold like this picture. Take care.
Hi Jenn!
I've been wishing for snow since last year... I wish I was there!
Ew, that is ridiculous cold! Why dont you send a shovel of that stuff my way? Im still moping around because we havent had any real snow...
I am loving the weather, snow, cold, brrrrrrrrrring it on!
What are we doing in here? I wish I lived somewhere warmer, but I say that every winter and I'm still here. It is so cold!! I told that fancy Vanessa that I'm crying icicles and I'm trying to make my way down to Arizona. Apparently they are having perfect 70 degree weather down there. So, besides the weather, I hope that your New Year is going well.
I wish you all the best. Stay warm!
We are ALL talking about the weather! Freezing here in Georgia too. It was good to catch up with you. The studio looks great. I'm overhauling mine...actually moving it, so this was INSPIRATION!!
Love those polka dot pants!
