happy tuesday sweet people!
thanks for such a wonderful update Saturday.
Man I appreciate you guys!!!!
I've been swamped with wrapping up your orders and finishing up some special commissions. I know you are all with me when I say there are NOT enough hours in the day. There are just those days when you have to neglect something! So, yeah. Maybe the bathrooms won't be cleaned today. Maybe I'll let dishes sit in the sink overnight (again). I probably won't get to answering all my emails again. And yep. My gray roots will have to wait another day. Or week. I'm seriously searching for a way to make them look cool. Not working.
I will not get it ALL done today and that is OKAY! Are you with me? I know you are:)

Hey Jenn,
My favorite quote is from the book, "Don't Sweat the Samll Stuff". "Even when you die you will continue to have an "IN" box. Sorta vulgar but once you really think about it there is always going to be something to get done every day-so just enjoy the day and do what you can!! Life is a continuous in box!!! Have a great day! xo, Amy.
Oh that is so me at the moment too, There just isn't enough time for everything, my paintings, my kids, my charity shop work, my afternoon crafting at my kids school, the housework, cooking dinner.... AHHHHH when will there be the time lol
I think it is okay to neglect chores every now and again and instead fill the time on ourselves or people we love! :)
Have a great Tuesday! ~Karen
Hi Jenn,
What would happen if we ever really got it all done in one day?
I got the gray roots dealt with yesterday. My hairdresser has been on maternity leave. I hadn't been since before Thanksgiving. I didn't look too cool either.
I think we all think there is just not enough time in a day:) The cleaning can wait another day just enjoy yoursef and don't stress. Have a great day!!!
i'm right there as well. thank goodness for my hubbie who likes to do dishes and laundry which allows me to create art in the art room!!!
hugs to you!
hi there. so i've been peeking on your blog for awhile now and i LOVE your style and your items. of course i especially love your lulettes houses! they are THE BEST! do you make them when someone requests them? or do you make them and list them and then they sell that quickly??? i would love to order one or two if you take special orders. let me know if you can (just read your post about NO TIME and i totally understand that ... :) you can contact me at laizydaisydesigns@gmail.com or on my blog at laizydaisydesigns.blogspot.com
thanks and have a nice day! :)
yeah, let me know if you find a way to make the grey roots look cool. I mentioned to my hubby that I might just let it grow out. "ummm, no" was the answer! lol
It's all just the measure of your success X;-) GooD on yOu!
Hi Jenn!!
I can relate!!!! We are chairing our school's gala again (it's in 2 weeks) and there is so much going on that I have completely neglected so many cleaning and organizational things at home...
I think you're in the right zone, though...you're creating and bringing so much joy to others---that's what it's all about!:)
hugs!!
Jody
the only things that need to be done are the important things...and dishes and all that other stuff don't fall into the "important" category! :)
Grey roots, shmoots! If we all let them go, there wouldn't be any pressure to keep the silver out. Let's all go "au natural" Free the follicles!!!!
I know, so much to do so little time. I've learned to let things go, who cares if the floor has a few extra dust bunnies. They can wait until tomorrow:)
Oh I do adore your blog! The heart is fantastic and I know what you mean about being "behind". Or are we so totally ahead of the game we are about to run up behind folks unawares???
Take care.

Not easy...I am amazed at how much do get done Jenn. How do you do it. I feel like I can hardly get a painting painted with my boys around.

So cute!

Congrats for being on the etsy home page! Love your work!
Ha! You are on the front page of Etsy today on that treasury! YAY FOR YOU!!!
I hear you Jenn! Just hang in there and remember what Dori said in Finding Nemo..."Just keep swimming, just keep swimming." Gee, you can tell you have 2 kids when you stop quoting E.B.Browning and start quoting Pixar.... :)
I'm almost to my 1 year blogiversary and am trying to get all my prints up for a giveaway...I painted more than I thought! lol
