happy spots...

a few little happy spots in the noodle and lou home...

we are drying out...yes, we have multiple dehumidifiers, lots o' fans and lots of things still to clean and go through:) Ignoring all that right now and looking at those Spring-ey happy spots.

have I showed you my little vintage meat markers before? I LOVE these funny little guys. I saw these years ago in a Home Companion magazine in an artist feature. Well, a few months ago, as I was perusing through a wonderful antiques place... there they were! Aren't they FUN!?

Still very cold here, but the boys were off school Thursday and Friday...so we headed off to the park with some friends. 25 degrees...but the sun was shining and it felt great! What happy spots are you enjoying this week?

p.s. Spooky Time Jingles update tonight!!
here are my little offerings...

Bonjour Jenn! What a pretty cheery spring post! We have similar tastes, I love little characters with faces as well, anthropomorphic is what it is called I learned a few months ago. Wow! Your Lulettes are getting better and better, their faces are just lovely! Have a beautiful weekend, Jenn! Hugs, LuLu xxxx

so glad things are looking up a bit! i'm wishing you a weekend of sunshine, warmth, and a much drier house (which, by the way, always looks like the most magical place!). :)

Jenn,
So sorry that you were flooded. The weather here has been very strange the last few years......I hope that it will be a normal warm summer that will get here soon!!

Your happy spots made me smile. Love your bunny girls and the witches are adorable too!

Enjoy your weekend.

I used to read Nancy Drew books. They were so much fun to read. I'm enjoying the small hint's of spring in the air, snugly naps with my little ones, homemade pizza, my husband coming home tomorrow, & laughing with my oldest. Hope you have a great weekend!

You'd love some of the things I received from my late grandmother..so many vintage items...I love your BBQ figurines! And the Hardy Boy and Nancy Drew books, I remember those!
I love your latest lulettes! The witches are sweet but I especially like the girls with the bunny ears!
Hope all is going well and not too crazy for you:)
