the queen is now in my etsy shop!
yahooooo...she sold!!! thank you!!!
I used lots of vintage french text and layers of paint. I printed "the queen" label on to a little piece of muslin and added 2 of my FAVORITE vintage buttons (with the old thread still in them...squeal!!). I had so much fun turning that old broken frame into this sweet little queen:) Here are some pictures for ya!
she hangs on your wall!
hello queenie!
I'm excited about finally planting a few little flowers on our patio...
and uncovering some old friends in the process:)
Hope you all have some lovely things planned for your Thursday!
ENjoy!! xox...jenn

Everything I just wrote got erased..Waa!
As I was saying, she is a cutie of a queen~I like how you add button and sequins giving your work a little extra something special:)
Hope you get some gardening in this weekend. Spring just barely arrived and so no plating seeds this year:) I love that metal flower..might be fun (and less maintenance) to have a garden full of those!Enjoy your holiday weekend Jenn!

No wonder your queen sold. It is so wonderful. You are one very talented artist. I love the photo of your Jake. I have a Jake son too and remember him at that age. He is now 27 and balding. Geez. How do they grow so fast.
It's a beautiful queen in a nice house. I like so much!!
