So, what did all of you do this past weekend?
Our weather was just gorgeous...hope you had a little piece of that too! I managed to get a bit of work done. It's slow going (see 1st paragraph)...but I'm hoping for a lulette update at the end of the week. Here are some peeks at some other things I've been up to the past week...
a commissioned princess went off to live in her new home:)
working on transforming some Goodwill and thrifting finds...
ACEO cards in the works...
oh, and did I mention someone had a laser tag birthday party this weekend? Jake had the MOST fun time at his birthday party! He and his friends had me cracking up the whole time. Seriously, my face hurt from laughing! SUPER good time as you can see from this smile...and of course this smiling gunman had to get in on the action too:) I think the equipment weighed as much as him...but it didn't slow him down!

oh my gosh, I just laugh and laugh when I look at that picture!
okay...off to my day!
But before I go, I want to wish my dear, sweet, hilarious and supportive friend (and mighty fine farm town farmer) Catherine a
HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
hope you get EVERYTHING you wish for and MORE today:):)
xoxoxoxo
Happy Monday everyone! xox...jenn

Love the princess, she's adorable!
Interested in seeing how the Goodwill transformation comes out!
We had a busy weekend too. My cousin graduated from the U of I (Iowa) and we went to the party and met his new girlfriend. On the way home I started telling my boys how much I wanted them to bring home a girl like Suzanne. She is going on to Physical Therapy school, comes from a nice family and was personable & fun! Sunday we went to a birthday party for my niece who is turning 20. Yikes where did the time go? I remember when she was a bun in the oven. Your princess is adorable btw! Love the cupcake picture, too! Have you seen the cupcake pops on Bakerella at http://bakerella.blogspot.com/ ? I am going to try these next time I need to send a treat to school.

Happy Monday, Jenn! The boys are just tooooooo cute! The princess is lovely (still think she's my alter ego). Can't wait to see what you're doing with the thrift shop find. Love that kind of stuff! Enjoy your week.
I just came across your blog for the first time. I love how you work black and white into so many of your pieces. Many artists seem to shy away from black, but I think it adds so much energy to a piece.
Great work!!
You've got me spinning! So many projects:) That's what good little tamborine players are supposed to do:)
I played laser tag once and LOVED it. So many laughs, so much fun. I bet the wee ones were thrilled:)
Jenn, the princess is delightful! She is perfect!
hi jeNn! Whew! You are CRAZY busy!!! Can't wait to see everything - especially those sweet little ACEO's you make :)
The boys are TOO cool in their laser tag gitups :)

Your princess is so lovely, it must have been hard to send her away.

such an apt description of how life can get us spinning around: "I'm on one of those parking lot carnival rides". good for you that you are savoring this special time with your boys.
