my mom and dad's house...

any credit I ever receive about decorating or design aesthetic, should be directed straight to my mother. thank goodness, somewhere along the line, I soaked up a little of her good taste! my parents have the most fabulous little home...filled with all sorts of treasures and wonderful Mexican art and beautiful pieces of furniture. the second you walk in...you feel like you are on vacation in a faraway place! it should seriously be in a magazine! here are a few peeks into Mia and Pappy's (as the grandkids call them) house!

(i'm so annoyed with myself that i didn't get more pictures...but maybe i can persuade my mom to take some more to share with you!)

bye bye Mia and Pappy's house in Florida!!
we miss you!

No wonder you grew up to be so creative! Love the ecletic look they have going on. The chippy bedside table on the left looks like a real nice find. Way to go Mia!

"yes please, may we have some more?"

Glad to see you are home and that you had a great time! I think I'm a little in N&L withdrawl!

I give credit to my mother too, yet my mother thinks my taste is better. She always tells me that I am living the life she really wanted. Downtown, amongst bistros and boutiques, cafes and book stores. Just don't tell my dad!

Bonjour Sweet Jenn! What a lucky girl you are to be able to visit your family in Florida! I LOOOOOVE Florida, love its steamy heat and humidity, love its everlasting tropical scenery, love its beaches! Your mom's house is really a little masterpiece of whimsies. I wannna go live there now, if she wants to take me! I am finally back from my long break away from blogland and so happy to have the time once again to visit you! Take care, LuLu xxx
