Too Cute!! But I know that I am getting old when the toys and stuff i grew up with become beyond vintage and go to the realm of antique!!

Bonjour Jen! Ah! Now it is our turn to feel yucky and sick with the flu. Glad you guys are feeling better! I looooove this new shop of yours, what a wonderful and fun idea! I keep on seeing vintage and cheap stuff that I would pick up if I had the space for more junk. But to pick and choose stylish funky old stuff to garnish your shop is a grrrreat way to take care of this unstoppable need to grab fun items! Way to go, Jen! If I lived closer to you, I would love to be your business partner! Hope you are a wonderful weekend not too chilly ... Hugs, LuLu

I'm glad to hear your family is feeling a little better. I love your collection of vintage stuff! I have a set a suitcases with that same red plaid and brown vinyl that I still use!! They belonged to my grandparents and I have a darling photo of them on their porch steps holding them sometime in the 1930's.--I don't know how old they actually are, but they are sure durable!

OMG Jen, I had some serious flash backs. The old tartan suitcase reminds me of a large one I had many years ago. On a road trip across Europe in '77, we stayed in a friends house in London and my son, who was 7 months old, slept in it...thank you for the great memories.

Those party clangers also bring back lovely memories. When we were children, my parents always attended New Year's Eve parties and in the mornings, we'd wake up with our treasure at the foot of our beds...always noise makers and colourful feathered hats.

Ha, I had a similar suitcase when I was little. I remember one time when I was really mad and packed it full of my Barbies and some fried chicken from supper. You know the necessities!
I was running away cause I realized my older brothers and sister got to stay up later than me. Not fair! Silly me:)
