oh yeah...you're going to have that song in your head ALL day now:) you're so welcome. but that really is where i've been heading lately. spooky town. all sorts of halloween ideas floating around in my head. (i am quite certain i won't get to half of them, but anyhoooo...) HAPPY 1st day of FALL! the leaves are changing and falling...the weather has a little chill...fall is here. so, where better to go than spooky town. fall means halloween! hip hip hoOooRay!!!!

this little spooky gal creeped into the etsy shop today and quickly creeped right back out! thank you!!! she'll be heading to her new home...but i have mounted prints and regular paper prints on their way soon:)

i've been doodling some new painting ideas too. you know i don't usually sketch my paintings first (i like to be surprised! ha!)...but i sure do love to doodle and these little gals appeared the other night. they will be all painted up soon:)

they are definitely headed to spooky town. don't you think? enjoy your tuesday everyone:) xox...jenn

your little spooky town goodies are so cute!! i'm not surprised your cute new painting flew right out of your shop.....and your new sketch will make the spookiest of spookies! and as long as i've got this song in my head, i'm wondering if spooky town is anywhere near funky town (and is there an ice cream shop there?)?!! hugs, :))

Jen, back atcha!!! Today it's going to be in the lower 70's...great way to celebrate for us out here in the desert Southwest...love Fall even though we don't have changing seasons...our landscape turns from green to brown, then back to green, but there's still lots of beauty in our desert and mountains.

Love you little spooky girl and can't wait to see your sketch come alive...so far it's really adorable.

Hey Jenn, it's me, Kim (Formerly Garden Painter Art):

I adore the spooky girl for her simplicity AND, of course, her striped stockings! I adore striped socks...

The little sketch below somehow reminds me of "Where the Wild Things Are". Obviously, there were no Halloween characters in Wild Things, but there's a dreamy feel to the boat....then again, I'm a wee bit kooky!

Jenn, I hate to trouble you, but when you have a spare moment, could you change my blog link from Garden Painter Art to my new blog: http://gerushiasnewworld.blogspot.com/? I'd truly appreciate it.

Thanks so much:
Kim
