blame it on the rain...

i don't know about you guys...but i tend to get the best photos outside. i know my neighbors think i'm a complete kook. i drag all sorts of things out the back door to set up some sort of pleasing (hopefully!) backdrop for my art or vintage treats:) chipped up cabinet doors, an old piece of a mantle, books...just arm loads of stuff. and then i'm squatting and contorting and things are blowing away or a bug attacks me. it's all VERY humorous to watch i am sure! anyhooo...we've had tons of rainy and oh so cold days here lately. this does not make for good photo sessions and i have SO many vintage treats that need to get in my shop! well, anytime the sun pokes out, i'm out the door with the camera and i got a few pics. yesterday:) here's a peek at what's comin' up for this week...

and a wee peek at SOME of the halloween treats (incorporating the coolest vintage finds) for the big STJ update on 10/13!

and please know how much it means to me that you visit me here. even if i miss telling you myself...i appreciate you. there never seems to be enough time to spend on the computer. that i can't blame on the rain. i'm just busy hanging out with my little lou:)

happy FRIDAY everyone!!

xoxo...jenn

Perfect for spooky times!

We had snow yesterday-so not ready for that!! Nothing stuck to the ground, yet. More snow tomorrow and then it heads your way. I'll be sure to think of you in warm scarves and with a mug of cocoa!

Ha Ha, I laughed aloud at your post. I always wonder what my neighbors think of me dragging blankets and such out of the house and squatting over them with my camera.

I love your pics and the little dollies are wonderful. My sister had that same elephant as a babe, almost 50 years ago!
