I figured out how to show you some pictures finally! Yahooooo! It's the little things folks. Well, in this case, it's a pretty big thing! I'm so lost without my photos. So, here's a few peeks in to life this past week. Been crazy busy with the start of baseball....look at my cute little #5...

big brother at baseball practice means lots of playground time at the field for Henry!

Good grief he is such a ham. Cracks me up!

We had the chance to visit the boys' class rooms the other night to see what they've been up to. I loved these Spring flowers in the Pre-K class! So sweet!!!

I finished (for now) my little re-finishing job on that school desk! Not the best "after" picture...but I do love how the shabby white turned out! My intention is to paint some little details on it. One day. When I have nothing else to do. Insert laugh track here;)

Also, got my new computer all set up with my 21 inch monitor!! Holy movie screen. This might be completely normal to some of you...but I think my old one was like 14 inches! teeny! All this meant I HAD to move my whole studio around. again. seriously. It's an illness. My name is jenn and I like to move things around. BUT...I love it now! I have more work space than ever. My computer is not jammed up on my work space anymore. So functional. Gotta love it. Not a very good picture...but I was anxious to give you a peek...so here you are!

We've had lots of rain which equals time stuck inside to do all this stuff! Cleaning out one room leads to cleaning out ALL rooms (don't forget I had to completely re-do our recently flooded downstairs again too! I'll snap some pictures of that later for ya). I got rid of some stuff in our bedroom, swapped out our bedside tables for these little ones I got from Ikea awhile back...and hung my fave little vintage window above the bed...

Another good rainy day activity involves watching a movie with Wall-E. What were they watching? Wall-E of course!

sparkly new...

Hi my sweets!
I've been setting up my brand new sparkly lovely computer!
yahooooooo for my new speedy friend with the biggest monitor
I've ever seen! I'm a bit in lala land, trying to figure it all out and
I'm back to having no access to my photos...BUT not for long!!
Didn't want you guys to think I feel in to a pit of tar. I'm still here.
Reading manuals, setting things ups, moving things around (again!?).
I hope to be all set up by tomorrow. Fingers crossed because I have
a few Mother's Day things I want to get in the shop for ya'll!

a little noodle and lou to hang around with

ooooh... you guys are so sweet about my little printed fabric peek I gave you yesterday! Here is what they became. Little noodle and lou fabric badges to hang around the house!

I kept them funky and really deconstructed.. with frayed edges and crazy stitches. Some are straight...some are not...each one has its own little character...none are perfect. Just like us:):)

The printed piece on top has a little polyfil in it, so it's like a little pillow sticking out.

The back has a noodle and lou printed label and I've sewn some gingham ribbon to hang your little badge with. Hang 'em on a cabinet door knob, or tie it on top of a package as a cute gift topper! Each measures around 3 1/2 - 4 inches in width and length...not including the ribbon.

My poor little neglected etsy shop is longing for some new treats.... so, I'm going to go ahead and put these in my shop today at 2:00 p.m. EST (new york time!). There will be 3 styles, for now, to choose from and they will arrive at your doorstep in a little cello bag tied up with fabric scrap ribbons.

the yucks...

I've missed you all! Yes...my computer has the yucks. This time a terrible, mean, vile virus. I'm at my wits end with all of it. So sorry to be out of touch...I'm hoping to have it all worked out by Monday. I have to get a new computer. It's been a long time comin'...so I'll just have to go with it:) On to happier news (because we can't dwell on the yucks TOO long now can we!!?!) Spookytime Jingles has updated for the month....and my little mini JOY painting is still available. Thank you to the sweets who gave my Halloween treats a happy home!!

I'm sneaking a few little treats in to the noodle and lou etsy shop tonight. I had some things ready for Mother's Day and thought I'd go ahead and list them:) Hope you've all had a lovely Thursday. Here's a peek at the new goods...

I've been working on some new mounted prints and these are the first 2 I'm offering. These are high quality prints mounted on to square wood panels...4.5x4.5 inches. Creamy painted sides, with a hanger attached to the back. Matte finish. Signed on the back. If you like them, I'll work on a bunch more:)

2x3 inch papier mache boxes (2 for right now)

hand painted in layers of acyrlics. Matte finish. signed/dated on the bottom.

darling for mother's day...put a little love note inside, or a pair of earrings...instant smiles:)

and this little 5x5 textured painting on a chunky square canvas.

Before heading to the airport last Sunday...we visited the local Anthropologie. You all know what a love affair I have with this store. oooh the displays, the clothes, the FURNITURE. Kills me.
