an incredibly darling customer purchased a bunch of vintage drawers from me awhile back. i was so thrilled to hear what she would be doing with these old drawers from the 20's. using them as wedding table centerpieces. swoon! that's my kind of wedding, folks! she was so lovely as to send me some shots from the wedding day...thank you annie! take a peek...

don't you just LOVE!? and such a perfect balance between feminine and masculine. definitely appeals to the bride and groom! this is just the kind of thing that gets me all giddy! hooray for vintage drawers! i mean, to this day, my fabulous old farmhouse drawers remain one of my most favorite finds ever. ever.
they are almost all gone...but i'll always have the super cool cabinet they came in. and i do love it so. all painted up in shabby turquoise and placed atop a little side table (painted to match).
so, what kind of things can you use vintage drawers for? you and your guests will adore them as table centerpieces. they make for excellent storage and look awfully fabulous placed around the house filled with flowers or ......? here are some great options for sale...

i still have a few left of the one's pictured in the wedding!

ps. when do we get a home tour??
Jenn,
I'm so sorry for your recent loss. Losing loved ones is never easy, especially with all of the moving stress you've been under.
I thought of you today when I realized that this weekend is the start of First Monday Trade Days in Canton. If you haven't heard of it yet, ya'll must go - especially with the weather being mild right now. Canton is only about an hour east of Dallas and is the most amazing flea market. If you go, hopefully you'll find some joy and laughter you didn't expect.
Best wishes and high hopes to my new Dallas neighbor,
Jennie
Wonderful post. I love the old drawers. Especially the one from the sewing machine cabinet. The music you've chosen for your blog is beautiful too.
