today is my birthday! my mom is in town, so it is an extra special day. hip, hip hooOray! so happy she can be here to help me celebrate. hope all of you sweet people are well. i have had really limited internet access lately (not good!) AND my sweet little camera croaked. poor thing...loved my camera. i have so many things to share with you and so many things to get in to the etsy shops...but i can't photograph them! oh goodness. there's always next week!

team-up thursday

oh team-up thursday!! how i missed you! especially my sweet buddy/partner carissa! i'm happy to be back from my moving adventures...happy to be back in to the thick of our team-up thursdays! i'm just so ready to shrink myself down to dollhouse size after seeing both our photos.

our theme is small for team-up but it's also a word that has been on my mind a lot lately! my baby henry (not a baby at all at the ripe age of 6 years old!) is growing up so much. right before my eyes! he's not so small anymore. it's such a strange feeling for a mom (at least for this mom). of course i am so proud of him and happy to see him grow and flourish...but there is the other side that would like to shrink him and keep him a tiny guy forever. it seems like yesterday i was rocking him to sleep and now he is a big boy going off to school and doing things for himself. he lost his 1st tooth yesterday! you have never seen a more proud kid and soooo excited for the tooth fairy! how is this my baby!?

and don't even get me started on my jake! i'm starting to have a hard time telling his clothes from my husband's in the laundry! i kind of do a double take like "wait! that's not chris' shirt!".

i know they can't be small forever. but of course they will always be my babies:) so you boys keep on growing and i'll just keep being your silly mom that occassionally tries to shrink you.

spoOkytime jingles update

peeks of the noodle and lou treats available tonight at spookytimejingles.com! (the houses will be offered individually). especially excited about the update tonight since i missed last month! that pesky moving business made me miss out on all sorts of fun:) and speaking of moving...we FINALLY have received all our belongings. i think it is nothing short of a miracle. really! it was like receiving a big shipment of gifts! i had forgotten about half of the stuff even though i had an inventory checklist. sorta fun:) at least that's the spin i put on it! so, i am busy trying to get everything put away and settled in. it takes so long, doesn't it!? i'll show you some pictures of our new digs as soon as it is presentable:)

now back to spoOkytime jingles tonight! the website will update when the clock strikes midnight (EST) tonight....when it turns to september 13th! i will not be around tonight, so if you email me about purchases you'll have to hold tight until the morning...i'm so sorry! i will honor the emails with purchase requests that come in first. first come, first serve:) i promise to reply/send invoices to you all in the morning after the kiddos are off to school. thanks you guys!!!!!!

and there's another 2 pages too. big, BIG woooOhoooOoo! thank you to everyone at Somerset...it is such an honor to be included in this publication. and i am in such good company. this issue is chock full of projects and inspiration. i don't even think of it as a "magazine", but as an art book that you treasure forever. fab. u. lous.
