vintage tuesday

we took a lovely little road trip to a charming vintage town this past weekend!

waxahachie, texas was founded in 1850 and was the largest cotton producing county in the late 19th century. driving in we saw rows of beautiful old victorian homes with wrap around porches and gingerbread trim galore. we parked and explored the darling little downtown full of antique shops and a spectacular courthouse....

nice to see jake in a picture! the older he gets
the harder it is to make him smile for a quick
photo;) and look at henry...such a character!

Awesome pics! I live in Shreveport and want to visit Waxahachie one of these days around Halloween. There is a lady there who has a Munsters house!
