we had a lovely thanksgiving. we had a huge feast of food and it was just the 4 of us. we all agreed that we have much to be thankful for! in between chris' football games, i keep seeing commercials for black friday sales. stores opening at midnight tonight! 4 am! ugh. all i can say is this... don't forget about your small independent shops, your local neighborhood artists and your favorite on-line handmade treats! mix it up. don't just do one stop shopping at your huge super store. support handmade and you know you are giving a truly unique gift! it's true!!

I wish I could say my plate was portioned controlled in that it matches Henry's, but alas twas not the case. I ate too much! I think I'll fast today...
