happy tuesday and happy halloween!  xox...jenn

another little update...

another little shop update with just a few things!  here's the info...

monday morning
october 24, 2011
10:00 am  (EST)
noodle and lou etsy shop

8 halloween house ornaments with vintage text sayings and a sweet little wall lulette doll.  i think she is just perfect for thanksgiving...but the message is just as lovely for all year round!  her skirt is made from an antique linen.  the houses are ready to rush out the door as soon as you pay for them.  they should arrive just in time for halloween!  great for your tree, but also so fun to tie on a little package!

hope your weekends were relaxing
and fun!  thanks for stopping by!  xox..jenn

part 3...festival hill

welcome to part 3 of our round top/warrenton trip!  i knew, while we were in round top, that we needed to visit festival hill.  a magical place housing the festival hill institute... a european styled music institute... and 210 acres of  "major performance facilities, historic houses, extensive gardens, parks and nature preserves."  all i can say is wow.  what a beautiful place.  we didn't see another soul while we were there...it was so quiet and ominous...did i already say magical?  it really was.  here are some peeks of our exploring...

next up...visiting the rachel ashwell shabby chic couture store at the prairie bed & breakfast.  can't believe we were there.  my heart still flutters.  it was fan. tas. tic.  stay tuned!!  and have a lovely weekend sweet friends...xoxo

mini halloween update

since halloween is creeping right up on us...i thought i would offer up a few more halloween goodies.  there will be a little halloween update tomorrow morning...here are the details and a few peeks!

vintage tuesday

happy tuesday to you and you and YOU!  there just seems to be way too much to do in a short amount of hours lately.  training mr. louie, filling orders, managing the kids' schedules and the house...etc.   you guys know the deal.  i have been pretty much ignoring my vintage shop.  i did get some photos of new treats this week though.  i hope to get these listed this week.  i hope.  i do, i do:)

what do you do when it all just seems to much?  what do you do to treat yourself...to escape?  me?  i crawled into bed early last night with my little snuggle puppy and watched bravo.  my guilty (not so guilty...because i don't care!) pleasure:):)  beverly hills housewives?  ring it.  love it.  perfect escape from my own craziness:)  xox...jenn

part 2...marburger farm

ready for part 2 of our round top trip?  yahooo!

marburger farm.
this is the mother load y'all!! i can't tell you the excitement i had pulling up to this show.  first of all, it's HUGE. and there are amazing bits of goodies peeking out of these big white tents and i don't know...  i just had to pinch myself.  i love, love, loved it.  if you love vintage.  if you love antiques.  if you love unique, one of a kind treasures...row after row of them... you absolutely must visit this show sometime.  the spring show is april 3-7...i'm just sayin'...

let's do this!

adored these subway rolls...

mandie of The Shop Antiques has
such a fun booth with
delightful old carnival & circus items!
so fun everywhere you looked...

and hello...
magnolia pearl.  i was SO excited to see their booth
in person.  over the top gorgeous.  ruffles for
miles.  it's like stepping into a wonderland.

how about these vintage books
turned into birds hanging everwhere.
so good.

the large magnolia flower made from old
newspapers was awfully special too.
it was all so stunning.

we saw some great vintage halloween, which i
always enjoy looking at.

and tons of the most unusual &
beautiful santos and religious icons...
my mom was in heaven and wanted
them all!

and my favorites...the booths filled with
rusty galvanized metal and chippy
furniture pieces and did i mention the
architectural salvage?  yummmm.

it was brutally HOT again...but we were still
smiling!

we were smiling even bigger after our fab brisket
sandwiches for lunch.  um. awesome.  ali is a
vegetarian and had to go off looking for an alternate
lunch.  i felt bad for her until i saw her huge
burrito thing with roasted veggies.  double awesome.

there we are...refueled with sweet tea and
lunch:)  and we set off to shop the rest of the tents.

some of the things we purchased...locker baskets, grain linens, a portugese marionette puppet (WHY didn't i get a pic. of that before my mom took it home?)  aprons, vintage christmas ornaments and more!  really, we saw the most amazing things.  thank you marburger farm!  we can't wait until we can visit you again!!!

hope you enjoyed the peeks.  next up is part 3...the gardens and chapel at festival hill.  stay tuned!
