week recap

a little glimpse of our week through the eye of my iPhone.  loving the instagram app.  such an easy and fun way to share!  you can follow me over there @noodleandlou ... or once a week, i plan on sharing some highlights right here on the blog:)

we had some sunshine that we soaked right up.  the boys had a dentist visit that was stellar...no cavities!  yes! still cleaning my studio.  jake had his clarinet solo competition (ooooh the nerves!!  don't know who was more nervous...him or me! we find out the results on monday.) and mr. louie entertained us at ever turn.  how was your week??

hope the long weekend was a good one for you.  i've been cleaning out my studio.  can't get another piece of art finished until i get it done.  it's driving me nuts...stuff everywhere.  and when i clean something...i REALLY clean it.  going through every single thing in here.  whew.  it's really been a mess since we moved.  maybe i'm getting ready for the next move.  yep. coming up this summer.  same area of texas...just new town:)

update peeks

hey guys!  quick look at what's heading to the shop tonight.  it's not a ton... but a few fun valentine inspired treats.  there is only one lulettes village.  i had great intentions for there to be more...but it just didn't happen.  if you need to place a special order, just let me know.  also was planning on some cute journals...but those will come on out at another time:)

so, a lulettes village, 3 of the beehive betty dolls (love them), a funny valentine couple in their undies:) and a french lulettes couple.  their french words mean "husband" and "wife".  cute for anniversaries and weddings too!

all will hit the shop at 9:30 p.m. tonight...E.S.T.

here are a few iPhone pics of my little patient louie.  he was neutered last week.  the pills were making him sick to his stomach, but is now recovering nicely.  really...besides being a little more sleepy than usual, he doesn't seem to know that he has stitches in his nether region and is not supposed to jump, play, run for 2 weeks.  it's like trying to tame a wild monkey;)  i swear, this is the funniest little dog i've ever known.

by the way...do you have that app...red stamp?  love it to bits! my new fave!  tons of cute cards.  fun, fun.

vintage tuesday

i first saw these amazing little hearts on pinterest and i fell in love.  love tokens made by WWI soldiers and sent off to their sweethearts back at home.  the design, the bead work, the embroidered bits...the character and sweetness of them makes my heart ache.  wondering if those boys ever made it home?  can you imagine receiving one of these?  they are just so supremely dear.

friday...the happiest day of all!
they sure roll around fast don't they?  well, sometimes not fast enough;) thank you friday for the farewell to the school week and the excitement of the upcoming weekend.  hip hip hooOray!!
