hello weekend

hello weekend!  thought i'd pop in and say hello!  what are your plans for the weekend?  we are going to be working on some yard clean up and starting to get some christmas decorations out.  in between painting and creating little goodies, of course!  thank you, thank you to all my sweet friends who have been snatching christmas treats out of the shop!! you all amaze me to no end with your support, encouragement and friendships!!

happy thanksgiving

happy thanksgiving my friends!  i am so thankful to sit with chris and our boys today and enjoy a yummy meal together.  i'm SO thankful for my family and all of you and your friendship and support...

 and i'm thankful for our new little addition to the family:)  our little rescue chihuahua that we adopted 2 days ago.  we felt a strong connection with this little guy and wanted to give him the happy home he deserves.  he's been through a lot and yep... just has one eye... but he is the sweetest little thing and fitting in so perfectly!  we are still deciding on a perfect name for him.  i love him!

Christmas goodies on stj tonight

hey there!  it's that time again... the spookytime jingles website will update tonight around midnight (EST) and i'm excited to see some CHRISTMAS goodies!  halloween was fun but i'm ready to move on... and it's in the 30's here today so i am feeling that winter joy!  i'll have these few "bow girl" ornaments and a sit down lulettes dolly.  (ignore the red glare on the dolly's hair... sun flare).  the ornaments are larger in size than the "muffin girls" last season.  these are about 3 1/2 inches tall.  i used vintage fabrics for their BIG bows and hangers...

home made lovely tour

happy thursday to you! hope you guys had a happy halloween!  life has been moving right along over here... i'll tell you guys that chris has been healthy and things are good... so thank you for keeping  us all in your thoughts and prayers!  i really have good intentions to keep up with things on the blog and it just always seems to fall last in line.  the good news is that i have a super fun link for you today!  darling heather over at life made lovely is featuring a tour of my house over on her blog today.  i am such a huge fan of her home made lovely series and i just loved taking part.  hope you guys pop over and take a peek:)  thank you heather!  p.s. visit her fabulous and inspiring shops... the joyful shop where 100% of the proceeds go to the joyful life library ... a project that creates children's libraries across the country.  AND the paperie where you can find her wonderful paper goods.
